Offshore Spin Rods

The NOMAD DESIGN OFFSHORE SPIN rods are the ultimate offshore casting weapons. Featuring a unique Helix30T45 blank construction method developed especially for these longer casting rods, they are lightweight but strong and will cast lures further and make it easier for you to work the lures suitable for each rod.

Our Offshore Spin range includes four models, each designed for specific offshore lure fishing techniques.

• PE 8–10 – Designed for heavy popper fishing

• PE 5–8 (8’3”) – A powerful stickbait rod for larger lures

• PE 4–6 – A versatile stickbait and popper combination rod

• PE 2–4 (7’4”) – Perfect for lighter stickbait fishing

These rods are built with a parabolic action, meaning the rod bends progressively from the tip through the foregrip when under load. This design provides three key advantages:

• Better lure action

• More efficient fish-fighting power

Unlike older rod designs where the tip is soft and the rod suddenly locks up through the blank, Nomad rods distribute load evenly. This makes them far more comfortable to fish with and significantly improves casting performance.

Crafted by decades of on the water experience The Offshore Spin rods feature Helix 30T 45-Degree carbon construction, built with Japanese Toray carbon fiber. The 45-degree spiral wrap strengthens the blank while delivering a crisp, responsive feel. The result is a rod that feels powerful, balanced, and incredibly efficient when casting and working surface lures. Finished with premium Fuji Alconite K guides and Fuji GM reel seat.
