WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
SWIM vs MAX
What's the difference between the Vertrex Swim and Max models? There's a lot!!The Max sinks twice as fast as the Swim to start with but there's much more to it. The swim CANNOT be fished on a straight retrieve and must be cast out and fished on a stop start retrieve.

SWIMS WHEN SINKING
The Vertrex Swim combines a precisely balanced body shape with internal weight placement to deliver a natural gliding and swimming action as it sinks, perfectly mimicking a fleeing baitfish. When lifted, it vibrates intensely, and on the drop, it swims freely, creating a unique presentation fish can’t resist.
Designed to be fished vertically, it can also be cast and retrieved or dropped straight down, but performs best with a fast lift to create vibration followed by a slack-line swim down.
