The NOMAD DESIGN HEAVY JIGGING rods are designed to be lightweight, responsive and a balanced design with the power to lean right into big fish and the finesse to work a jig for long periods. The Nomad Design Jigging rods feature medium tapers matched with a stiffer tip sections and super strong butt sections. This creates a lightweight rod that imparts extra action to the jig and is easier to fight fish with. This range includes:

Spinning jigging rods
One overhead model (PE 4–6) ideal for fishing 50–80lb braid

These rods follow a more traditional jigging design compared to the slow pitch with:

Slightly softer tips
A strong parabolic bend
Enough stiffness to effectively work jigs

They’re ideal for general jigging applications where versatility and lifting power are required.
