The DTX MINNOW 200mm Heavy Duty is a revolution in trolling minnows, featuring the Patented Autotune™ System, Metal Matrix Plate system, Diamond Armour internal strength system and Hydrospeed belly eyelet technology, the DTX Heavy Duty series is in a class of its own.
The DTX 200mm Minnow can be trolled at over 12 knots and will reach a maximum depth of over 40ft+ when trolled at 8-10 knots and 80-100yds. Ideal for the toughest predatory fish like Tuna, Wahoo, Mackerel and Mahi Mahi, the DTX Minnow is your first choice in bluewater trolling lures.
The unique body shape design creates a distressed baitfish swimming action, and the concealed Hydrospeed belly eyelet allows faster trolling speeds than conventional tow points. Combined with the Patented Autotune™ self-tuning towpoint, this lure keeps swimming deep, straight, and true, first time every time.

Autotune™ DTX
Patented Autotune™ Technology designed by founder Damon Olsen. Allows the lure to self centre, run at very high speeds and go super deep when trolling. Creates more swimming action and is why DTX's catch more fish than any other offshore hardbait.
Hydrospeed Eyelet
The Hydrospeed belly eyelet has been hydrodynamically tested and designed to allow maximum trolling speed and provide the optimum hookup ratio when using single hooks in large trolling lures. The concealed towpoint allows the lure to be trolled much faster than a conventional lure.
Diamond Armour
Proprietary internal design process used with clear ABS plastic bodies, designed to dramatically increase strength. The internal diamond mesh grid pattern creates an internal framework to strengthen the body of the lure, making it far less likely to be crushed or cracked by large predators.
Matrix Metal Plate System
The ultimate internal strength designed for big fish. Features a uniquely designed stainless steel plate in the body mold of the lure. The plate is fused into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through the plate and create the ultimate in strength.
HD ABS System
Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white color and is ultimately stronger than other plastics used for lure production. These lures also feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.
Triple Shield Protection
We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional color depth and ensures that the finish on your lure will last longer.
